Who can train with Clarence Football Academy (CFA)?
Clarence Football Academy welcomes players of all ages and ability levels from across Grafton, Yamba, Maclean and the wider Clarence Valley. Whether your child is taking their first steps in football (soccer), enjoys playing for their local club, or is striving to reach representative or academy-level football, we have a program to support their development.
We currently work with players from Grafton United, Westlawn Tigers, Maclean Bobcats, Iluka Football Club, Yamba Football Club, Majos Football Club and Coutts Crossing Football Club.
Does Clarence Football Academy replace my child's club football?
No. Clarence Football Academy is designed to complement club football, not replace it. Many of our players continue training with their local clubs while attending CFA for additional technical development, personalised feedback and a different coaching environment.
Our programs help players improve key areas such as first touch, ball control, confidence and decision-making, allowing them to return to their clubs better prepared and more confident on match day.
What programs does Clarence Football Academy offer?
Clarence Football Academy offers a structured football (soccer) development pathway designed to support players at every stage of their journey.
Our programs include CFA Emerging Ballers (ages 7–10), CFA Development (ages 11–14) and the CFA Performance Pathway (ages 15+), helping players develop their technical skills, confidence, game understanding and ability in a positive and challenging environment.
-
CFA Emerging Ballers focuses on building strong football foundations through skill development and game-based learning.
-
CFA Development Squad supports players as they continue to improve their technical ability, decision-making and understanding of the game.
-
CFA Performance Squad provides a high-performance environment for players looking to challenge themselves and reach their full potential.
